I've been travelling and doing business in Morocco since 1998. When a group of Gibraltarian entrepreneurs and I started exploring the possibilities of setting up for business there, we opened branches of our locally registered companies there with bank accounts etc, we took ourselves to task and soon we found ourselves exporting oranges from Sidi Kacem to Europe. Not too bad for rookies it was our first international business transaction, soon after that we started meeting business people and the idea to have an association came about.
